Hi, I was wondering if there an easy way to install multiple version of the bcg on the same machine. We need this to be able to support multiple versions of our product that are using different versions of bcg.
Our legacy product is using bcg 27.1 and I want to give bcg 30.2 a try but the bcg 30.2 install is trying to override the old install whenever I try to install it.
I could technically move 27.1 after the install but is there another recommended method of doing this?
No, this is not supported "out of the box", but you can try the following workaround:
1. Copy your current (27.0) folder to other location (e.g., to the same folder, but name will be with suffix "27"). 2. Run setup and upgrade to the latest product version. 3. Setup your project "include" and "library" paths.
