Does anyone know, the rules for trimming the ribbon elements when the main window size is reduced?
I would expect that in a panel column by column the buttons are reduced by its text.
But sometimes one button is left with its text in a column.
I wonder what rules are used there.

To reproduce my description, please use the RibbonMDIDemo and customize the ribbon as follows.
  • New group
  • New
  • Open...
  • Close
  • Save
  • Save as...
  • Options
  • Exit

If you now reduce the width of the main window slowly, the New button holds its text. Why?

Hello,

Thank you for reporting this!

The custom panel (group) doesn't have any large-size buttons, so layout is not optimal.

This problem has been resolved and solution will be available in upcoming product release (33.0, ETA - May 2022).

If you need the fix now, please open a new support ticket and ask for the source code changes.

Best regards,
